It woke up from its coma!!

Yippeee! Am so elated and so happy and so jubilant and so...ok ok I will stop. Still don't know what I'm talking about? Really no?

Its my BlackBerry!! Remember I was trying to make it learn to swim but the poor thing had drowned? I had been surviving on the borrowed BlackBerry till now but that also had to be put to rest thanks to my temper :(

So the Christmas holiday went trying to revive both of them and managed to revive my pearl partially. I say partially because I still needed to buy a fresh battery which I managed to do today and its finally woken up from its long coma after we spent 2.5K over it. The one that bore the brunt of my anger still needs to be repaired which am sure won't take too long. We need to buy the display screen which is going to cost us 3K only!! :(

After being phoneless and blackberryless for more than a week, its really good to have it back.

Ok ok..go ahead and call me addicted and I won't stop you coz I know I'm :)

Whats the worst thing you have done in a fit of anger?

I'm so so mad..at no one but myself for acting so insanely...

I threw whatever came in my hands on the ground on Saturday morning during a MAJOR fight with hubby. I had reached my saturation point that day.

It was only much later I realised I had thrown my wallet, table mats and *sob* *sob* my phone too..its broken now...bwaaaaaaaahhhhhhh..I really want to whack myself. I've never done such things before and I have made a resolution "Never again"

So here I'm phoneless and more than that Blackberryless since Saturday :(

What happens when...

...you try and make your handset learn to swim? It drowns and dies!

I didn't need this bit of knowledge (its obvious..isn't it?) neither was I keen on trying to see if it can actually swim. But it did drown and die! My BlackBerry...which I had got last November.

I was talking on the it while in the kitchen and it slipped from my hands and landed in the big bowl of water. Since then it hasn't sputtered back into life yet. I'm still trying to go and get it checked at the service center. As I still have hope that it will survive and it is just in coma!

Its been 2 days since I've been without my BlackBerry. I realized what these drug addicts must feel like in the rehabilitation centers on the first day :P 2nd day I didn't even think about it. Infact life has been kind of peaceful and relaxed since then :)

I used an old age hindi movie formula

I'm sure all of us remember movies where the lead actor/actress would loose memory or senses after an accident and would say "Main kahan hoon?" :D And on repeating the same sequence of events, that lead to the loss of memory, would unfailingly revive it. Remember?

Well I applied the same formula with my phone. However the problem I was trying to solve was not the memory loss but loss of voice! Ok..ok..I will stop beating around the bush and tell you how I used the Hindi movie formula on my phone.

It so happened that yesterday I dropped my phone and since then its sound system stopped working. And thanks to this I had lots of missed calls and SMSes which I didn't see on time because but ofcourse I couldn't hear my phone ringing or beeping. I tried whatever I could to get it functional again but to no avail. I opened the battery case and cleaned the speaker area but still didn't help. Restarted the phone couple of times but the problem continued. So as the last resort I dropped it again but this time intentionally and restarted it. Lo and behold the problem was solved!! The speaker started to function properly and life was restored to normal. :D

Now what do you have to say to that?? *wink*

I am so happy using my new Blackberry not just as a phone or for checking my emails or or general internet browsing or for chatting but also for randomly clicking away. The picture quality may not be super duper but its pretty decent!

I soooo love it! My Blackberry Pearl!

Yippeee! I got my new Blackberry pearl this week and I so love it! Its super sexy!

And its so light weight too! Everything about it is just sooooo goood! The features are better so its much easier to use. I don't have to move my thumb far away from the keys to use the trackball since its right there in the center.

Its much smaller than the earlier one that I had and so much more jazzy looking too! My Jijaji had used it for a year but no one can tell its not new! Its as sparkling new as it can be! Thanks Jijaji, once again!

Now I can even take pictures from my phone and the quality is super cool too!

Today when I went to pick Betu from school he insisted that I click his picture from my phone and then went about telling everyone that "Humne naya phone liya hai!" (We got a new phone) What a brag and show off he is becoming already!

Me & My Blackberry!

And ever since I got my Blackberry - thanks to my eldest Jijaji and got the services enabled, life's been so different. I can be lying on my bed at night and can catch up with my sisters in US or a friend through either GoogleTalk or Yahoo!IM. I can write and reply to mails using it - whether personal or official. I can browse the web and read the blogs - YES!...all through my Blackberry! Its a BlackBerry 7100g model - an old but good enough for my requirements!

Whatever part of the country I'm, I'm connected to the Internet. Who needs to carry a heavy laptop just for the net connection now! :D It reminds me of the time when we were travelling to UP in mid of May for a cousins' wedding, I was almost giving hour to hour updates to my SIL/BIL/MIL via chat. :D They were quite excited about the wedding but due to some constraints weren't able to make it for the wedding.

And it turned out so much cheaper too since there's no extra charge on Internet connectivity on roaming but a lot if you SMS or call. So worked out great for all of us. :D

And when I don't want to use the Internet, I've my default game that comes with it 'Brickbreaker' to the rescue. Its an age old game but I really love it. Have been playing for almost a year now and am still not bored of it. Now DH is also addicted to that game.

So to summarise.. I LOVE MY BLACKBERRY! And THANK YOU Jijaji!
