Breaking news?

Just saw it on Aaj Tak news channel under "Breaking News" - "Aatankwadi ko le kar 10 janpath mein huyee baithak" (आतंकवादीयों को ले कर 10 जनपथ में हुयी बैठक)

At first I shook my head thinking what level have the news channels have stooped down to. But then I smiled and thought that this sure is breaking news. Why? Because our politicians actually made effort and sat down to discuss something of importance :D

    they should change it to BREAKING HEADS of the people tuning in to these channels.

    breakings news has become a joke now! shows lack of creativity and genuine newsworthy stuff!

    hope they actually THINK and find some solutions!

    at least this is partially relevant

    i remember during the abhi-ash wedding - it was more like 'breaking news - aishwarya's mehndi was bought from blah blah blah'

    if you had seen INDIA TV, one thing you will notice is the 'breaking news' tag it highlights all the time..24*7

    Not having a 'breaking news' on their screen will be a breaking news for me..!!

    now even the english channels also follow the suit...!

    Thank god, I don't have a TV to watch news channels :)

    P.S: These types of news channels project what they wanted to in the name of whomsoever... and not the actuality/reality. So I hardly care to switch ON and if they have lost creativity or they did some typos that’s another thing to add ;)
