When I first saw it lying on the table I wondered it was the leftover coin from our europe trip last year from one of the countries. Only when I picked it up that I saw that it was our own currency. So how do you like it?
Edited to add:
The size of this coin is almost the size of the old 2 rupee coin with a difference of maybe just one or 2 mm in the dia. And this new 10 Rupees coin is quite light too.
Ya seen it and liked it. A colleague told thats its in market for 2 years or so ..so not new. Its just that I saw it only once and I dont own it yet :(
ReplyDelete2 years??????
ReplyDeleteI saw it for the first time today!!
Oh very nice..looks nice.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how much your bag weigh now that you start carrying all these coins
Even 100 rupees in 10 rupee coins would weigh a lot
This one's relatively light though. They'l probably phase out the 50 p and Re 1 coins. But how will we gift the auspicious amount of 101/- if they do that :D.
ReplyDeletei really like it... and yes, it has been around for quite some time now..
ReplyDeleteplease post another picture..with another known coin so we know exactly how big it is.
ReplyDeleteLooks good. I saw it just once and we gave it to our Brat for her collection.
ReplyDeleteThe coin was there a few years back... I exchanged for some 10 Rupee notes a month back at a supermarket:) Collector's item, ppl don't use it or give it back once they have... me too in that category heeheeee..
